Jad Esber is co-founder and CEO of Koodos, the company behind Shelf. Shelf is a personal data store with over 5 million users, built on the idea that your data should travel with you and apps should come to it, not the other way around. Jad was at YouTube before this and researches personal data handling at Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center. A couple more folks from the Koodos team will be in the room too.
